Q) Do you book shows at other venues

A) Yes, as well as booking shows at The Freebutt we also book shows at other venues around Brighton, ranging in capacity from 120 to 550.

Q) Where can I buy tickets from?

A) Tickets can be purchased online from www.wegottickets.com and www.seeticekts.com or in Brighton from Resident Music, Rounder Records and the Sussex University Box Office. Some tickets can also be bought at from the Penthouse Bar, upstairs at The Freebutt.


Q) what is your age limit?

A) The Freebutt is a 16+ venue but ONLY WITH ID (passport/drivers license/pass cards). If you don't bring ID then you won't be getting in... calling your parents to talk to the doorman or promotor will not work.

The Penthouse is 18+.


Q) How near is the Freebutt to trains/buses?

A) Brighton train station a 5-10 minute walk from the venue.

Q) How can I get my band to play at the Freebutt? Can I send you a demo?

A) Please send demos to 'Demos, The Freebutt, 1 Phoenix Place, Brighton, BN2 9ND' or send us a link to your myspace page. Please do NOT email us mp3s. Please be patient as we get a lot of requests for shows at the Freebutt and it takes a long time to go through all the demos we receive and can't put on every band that asks for a show.

Please do NOT show up at the venue to play us songs!
